SkyRoot (Skylar Gowanloch) is a Multi-Media Visionary Artist that predominantly works with fiber (yarn, fabric, thread, and more!). She is inspired by nature, divinity, and the path of the mystic.

She hopes to weave tapestries that reflect the beauty in every beings heart as well as make wearable creations that people feel comfortable and beautiful in.

Skylar has been creating art since she was a little girl. From making costumes, to drawing portraits, singing and putting on plays, her expression in this life is through a rainbow of art forms. She feels most alive when she has the freedom to express in a myriad of ways and share with others.

She was born in Atlanta, GA, raised in Orlando, FL, and is currently based in Asheville, NC. Her heart is in love with the mountains of Appalachia and the tropical flatlands of beautiful Florida.
